Membership Application
Please remember to fill-out and turn in your 2021 applications and join any new horses. Please note, the owner of the horse on your Horse Show entry form must be a member of MTHJA for points to count.

Short Stirrup Reinstatement Rule
Prior to September 1 of the current horse show year, riders may try up to two (2) horse shows or events, where the rider shows over fence heights of 2'6" and without penalty may request reinstatement to drop back down to the Short Stirrup to finish the remainder of their eligibility. Please contact us for the form for reinstatement on the MTHJA website and submit at least two weeks before you plan to compete back in the Short Stirrup division.

Notes
The MTHJA will have three (3) official point updates throughout the show year as following: April 1, August 1 and December 5. The point updates will be considered accurate and final thirty (30) days after the update - April 30, August 30 and December 15 (which is an exception to accommodate end of the year awards).

Members are encouraged to confirm their points are accurate after each individual point update and notify the MTHJA point secretary of any discrepancies within the 30 day period. Following each of the official updates, (4/30, 8/30, 12/15) all points will be considered accurate and final and no changes may be made. Horse shows beginning or ending on the date of the official update will be counted in the net official update.
